After the internationally acclaimed success of the Vannystyle Pro - a frame praised for its balance, durability, and signature flight feel - Alex Vanover (@Captainvanover) set out to evolve his design once more. The Vannystyle Ultra is that next step forward: a refined continuation of what worked, focused on tighter geometry, cleaner assembly, and an even more durable and connected flight experience.

Gone are the days of juggling arm styles and assembly quirks - the Ultra simplifies everything with a single, unified arm design. Each 6 mm thick arm is precision-tuned for strength, vibration balance, and ease of replacement. No more confusion, no more over-complication - just one set of gloriously refined arms built for real-world freestyle abuse.

The Vannystyle Ultra also ditches unnecessary vertical assembly plates, streamlining the build for faster setup and a cleaner aesthetic without sacrificing rigidity. The result? A stronger, simpler, and more aerodynamic platform that feels tighter in the air and easier to maintain on the bench.

Camera Plates

The Vannystyle Ultra INCLUDES two camera plate options, chosen based on your VTX and camera setup.

• DJI O4 Pro Camera Plates
  Designed specifically for the O4 Pro camera, which uses a 20 mm body but has a much wider horizontal screw spacing than traditional micro cameras. These plates match the O4's pattern exactly, keeping the camera centered and secure while maintaining full front-end protection. The plate length has been extended compared to the previous Vannystyle Pro frame for improved strength and durability under impact. Choose this option if you're running the latest DJI O4 Pro Air Unit setup.
• O3 / Universal Camera Plates
  Used for all other systems, including DJI O3, Walksnail Avatar, DJI O4 Lite Air Unit, HDZero, and analog micro cameras (19 mm). These follow the standard micro mounting pattern for full compatibility across most current FPV cameras. They also share the same extended-length geometry for added rigidity and improved protection around the lens area.

Both plate styles are made from ultra-durable carbon construction with slotted holes for precise angle adjustment. Each version is purpose-built for its system - not a compromise - ensuring your camera sits exactly where it should with maximum stability and impact resistance.

Compatibility & Mounting

The Ultra's frame design centers around a 20×20 mm M2 mounting grid for the stack and VTX. For systems that use other hole patterns, we offer 3D printed sleds and mounts through the WREKD® store.
